River Derwent Wressle to Breighton
By Appointment only, River Derwent Wressle GDAA Water.
The river Derwent looking upstream on the right hand bank from Wressle railway bridge to Breighton approximately 1 1/4 miles.
This is the stretch Goole and District have controlled for over 20 years and as GDAA is now run from our offices we can offer our members limited fishing on this stretch by appointment only.
Access is of Lund Lane/Breighton Road along the flood bank from the road to the river. Please be aware this is quite a long walk of about 400 meters to the river, Parking is in the lay-by where the angling notice board is situated.
Please be aware cattle graze the river bank along this stretch.
No night fishing, No fires, No swimming, No rowdy behavior, No fish to be taken away, All fish must be returned alive to the water.
